Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is called Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Microsoft acquired the platform in 2002 in order to expand its business offerings by creating a financial operations system for small and medium-sized businesses.
Microsoft introduced
Dynamics 365 Business Central
after the discontinuation of Dynamics NAV. Business Central is a more recent version of Dynamics NAV that provides the same standard features in a significantly more intuitive manner. Importantly, it is also Software as a Service (SaaS), making it accessible from anywhere, with the same security as Microsoft 365.
